The Hellenic Educational Institute for Analytical Group and Family Psychotherapy (EL.EK.IN) is an Interdisciplinary scientific educational non- profit Association, that primarily aims at the scientific study and research, from a psychoanalytical perspective, of mental phenomena associated with the individual, the couple, family, group, society and also institutions, organizations, foundations, businesses.

EL.EK.IN. is an Interdisciplinary Association implementing educational and therapeutic psychodynamic-group therapies for family and couples. The Association is inspired by the psychanalytical thinking, theory and practice of S. Freud M. Klein. D. Winnicott, W. Bion, D. Anzieu, R. Kaes and of their successors, while maintaining a close contact with modern trends in psychoanalytical group, family and couple psychotherapy. The Association works with scientists from different research fields, interested in psychoanalytical thinking and theory, as well as with related domestic and foreign organizations, in order to enrich its educational and research work.

Το ΕΛ.ΕΚ.ΙΝ. είναι μέλος του Association Européenne Nicolas Abraham et Maria Torok. Επίσης, είναι πρόσεδρο μέλος της Εθνικής Εταιρείας Ψυχοθεραπείας Ελλάδας (ΕΕΨΕ), η οποία και πιστοποιεί τους ελληνικούς εκπαιδευτικούς οργανισμούς στις επιμέρους προσεγγίσεις ψυχοθεραπείας, σύμφωνα με τις ευρωπαϊκές προδιαγραφές που θέτει η Ευρωπαϊκή Ένωση Ψυχοθεραπείας (EAP).

The association's main purposes are:

  • The scientific study, research and development in the field of psychoanalytic group, family and couple psychotherapy.
  • The training of psychotherapists and the operation of services related to education and training.
  • The operation of programs and services that provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
  • The organization of scientific events and activities related to psychoanalytic theory and practice.
