The Hellenic Educational Institute for Analytical Group and Family Psychotherapy (EL.EK.IN) is an Interdisciplinary scientific educational non- profit Association, that primarily aims at the scientific study and research, from a psychoanalytical perspective, of mental phenomena associated with the individual, the couple, family, group, society and also institutions, organizations, foundations, businesses.

Παράλληλα, το ΕΛ.ΕΚ.ΙΝ. υπηρετεί την ανάγκη προσφοράς προς το κοινωνικό σύνολο μέσω εφαρμογών της ψυχαναλυτικής ψυχοθεραπείας στον χώρο της υγείας, στην εκπαίδευση, σε οργανισμούς, ιδρύματα, φορείς και επιχειρήσεις.

Ειδικότερα, σκοποί του ΕΛ.ΕΚ.ΙΝ. είναι:

The scientific study, research and development in the field of psychoanalytic group, family and couple psychotherapy.
The training of psychotherapists and the operation of services related to education and training.
The operation of programs and services that provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The organization of scientific events and activities related to psychoanalytic theory and practice.
Ο σχεδιασμός, η υλοποίηση και η εκτέλεση εθνικών και ευρωπαϊκών προγραμμάτων και δραστηριοτήτων που αφορούν στην ψυχική υγεία.

Μέλη του ΕΛ.ΕΚ.ΙΝ. είναι ψυχοθεραπευτές, ψυχολόγοι, ψυχίατροι, κοινωνικοί λειτουργοί, κοινωνικοί και ανθρωπιστικοί επιστήμονες, ή άτομα με πανεπιστημιακή μόρφωση, που έχουν αποκτήσει ή βρίσκονται σε διαδικασία να αποκτήσουν, εκπαίδευση και επαγγελματική επάρκεια στην άσκηση της ψυχαναλυτικής ψυχοθεραπείας ζεύγους, ομάδας και οικογένειας.
